Honorees do not have to be from Yukon or currently reside in Yukon. Nominations are welcomed from anywhere for individuals who are currently serving, retired, or have previously served in the military or as first responders.
Whether they wore a military uniform, badge, firefighter's gear, EMS uniform, or served in another public safety role, Yukon Salutes recognizes the dedication, sacrifice, and commitment of those who answered the call to serve.
This unique display publicly celebrates and honors the men and women who contribute to our safety, health, and freedoms. The banners are displayed along Main Street (Route 66), creating a lasting tribute to those who have served our nation and communities.

Community members, businesses, organizations, and families are welcome to sponsor a banner for a veteran or first responder who does not currently have a banner displayed. Your sponsorship helps ensure that more heroes receive the recognition they deserve while supporting the continued growth of the Yukon Salutes program.
